Among the features supported are multiple bit rate streams, an optional extra channel for simultaneous synchronized casting of presentations in addition to the main video channel, and automatic local archiving of recorded video by category, subject, etc.

The CU Live Event comes with a wall mountable on-off switch which when pressed automatically starts the entire system, casts event to a pre-set URL, and records locally for archiving purposes.
